Textile Designing

It is an interface between material and making that creates a challenging and dynamic environment. Patterns, weaves, knits, embroidery, embellishment and value addition through motifs, colours, materials, fashion trends and visual merchandising are some of the areas of textile design.

Engraving

Engraving is an intaglio printmaking process in which lines are cut into a metal plate in order to hold the ink. In engraving, the plate can be made of copper or zinc. The metal plate is first polished to remove all scratches and imperfections from the surface so that only the intentional lines will be printed.

Rotary Printing

Rotary Screen Printed fabric involves pressing printing paste or ink through mesh on a cylindrical screen onto fabric. It involves a screen which is engraved for each colour, and loaded into our rotary screen printer for high speed and high quality textile printing.

Processing

The pretreatment processes performed in conventional textile industry are sizing, desizing, scouring, bleaching, mercerization, washing, and heat setting. One or more of any of these processes are required for the textile substrate depending upon the end use of the textile.

Finishing

Textile finishing processes comprise washing, bleaching, dyeing and coating, as applied to bulk textiles or garments following weaving and/or production of synthetic materials. These are energy-intensive and use large amounts of water that is generally discharged as effluent.
